Psychiatric treatment
A psychiatrist is a medical specialist trained in the diagnostic and treatment of psychological and psychiatric problems. When we refer to psychiatric problems it is assumed that an interaction between psychological and medical-biological factors exists. Thus the treatment methods used by a psychiatrist are often not only psychotherapy (see here), but also medical-biological when needed (among others, treatment with medication).
